From sunrise to sunset, experience the Costa Brava

The Costa Brava owes its name to the journalist Ferrant Agulló, who in 1908 christened the coast between Blanes and the border with France. he wanted to describe the strength of its waves and the culture of its people.

Would you like to be the first on the peninsula to see the sun rise?

If you go up to the Lighthouse of Sant Sebastià you can observe the profile designed by the sea and time. It will seem to stop for a few moments... You will feel this magical moment accompanied by the breaking of the waves on the cliff 175 meters above the sea; a real pleasure for the senses!!

Gardens with impressive views

The Jardins de Cap Roig, located between the municipalities of Palafrugell and Mont-ras, are a unique space in the Mediterranean for their uniqueness. With an extension of 20 hectares, the gardens treasure nearly 800 botanical species. The space also houses a collection of sculptures along the same route, with works by renowned national and international artists.

Good genre

We are a land of quality products, coming from the mountains and the sea, among which we find the Palamós Prawn. A whole world has unfolded around her to get to know her well. Of particular note is the "Guided Visit to Palamós Prawns with Tasting" promoted by the Fishing Museum. A visit that mixes gastronomy and popular culture in unbeatable spaces: the port and the Espai peix.

The wine tradition of the area also occupies an important place, if you want to know a winery located in a privileged environment of Les Gavarres and whose wines are never missing from the most "trendy" lists at local, national and international level. ..then you can't miss a visit to Celler Clos d'Agon. There is also a wide variety of wineries in the area whose wine is a must. You can find more information on the DO Empordà website.

Sailing under the stars is enchanting!

You don't feel the Costa Brava until you let yourself be cradled by its sea. With the Rafel (Latin sailing boat) you will live a romantic and exciting experience navigating the waters of the Costa Brava between dusk and night.

Live music at sunset!🎼

Thinking about an activity to close the day, we cannot forget the Cap Roig Gardens Music Festival and the Sant Feliu de Guíxols PortaFerrada Festival. Between the months of July and August, concerts are scheduled at many festivals throughout the Costa Brava, but Cap Roig and PortaFerrada are the most international.

A bit of music to end the day on the Costa Brava
